KS Clemens Unterreiner

Clemens Unterreiner is from Vienna. He studied under Gottfried Hornik, Helena Lazarska and Wicus Slabbert, among others. Numerous opera and operetta productions, Lieder evenings, oratorios and church concerts in Austria and abroad, including in the Grosse Musikvereinssaal, Konzerthaus, Palau de la Musica and other international concert venues. A member of the Wiener Staatsoper ensemble since 2005, performing roles including Escamillo (»Carmen«), Besenbinder (»Hansel and Gretel«), Falke (»Die Fledermaus«), Sharpless (»Madama Butterfly«), Schaunard and Marcello (»La Bohème«), Faninal (»Der Rosenkavalier«), Donner (»Das Rheingold«), Music Master and Harlequin (»Ariadne auf Naxos«), Melot (»Tristan und Isolde«), Brétigny (»Manon«), Verschinin (»Tri sestry«), High Priest (»Alceste«), Angelotti (»Tosca«), Speaker and Papageno (»The Magic Flute«), Cuno (»Der Freischütz«), Albert (»Werther«), King’s Herald (»Lohengrin«). He was also a success at the Volksoper as Papageno and Sharpless Further engagements took him to Carnegie Hall, Copenhagen and Strasbourg Operas, the Salzburg Festival, the Opéra de Nice, Tokyo, Baden-Baden, the Carinthian Summer Music Festival, Muscat, the Landestheater Linz and the Budapest Wagner Festival.
