The Ukrainian soprano Daria Kolisan was born in Mykolaiv in 2002. She received singing lessons from the age of eleven and was accepted to the Mykolaiv State Music College at the age of 15. In 2020, she transferred to the National Academy of Music in Kiev. In 2019, she won 2nd prize at the Antoni Dvorak Singing Competition in Karlovy Vary and 1st prize at the Vasyl Slipak Singing Competition in Lviv in 2021. In 2023, she took part in the Salzburg Festival's Young Singers Program.
Daria Kolisan has been a member of the Vienna State Opera's Opera Studio since the 2023/24 season.
