Jack Lee

British baritone Jack Lee is a recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London and a member of the Opernstudio of the Wiener Staatsoper 2022-2024. Previous roles have included Ramiro in L’heure Espagnole, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte and Peter Besenbinder in Hänsel und Gretel. Jack was a member of the Glyndebourne Festival Chorus for their 2022 Festival, performing in operas such as The Wreckers and La bohème.

He was a finalist in the 2021 Kathleen Ferrier Awards, chaired by Sir Thomas Allen, and has twice been a semi-finalist in the International Handel Singing Competition. A regular concert performer, Jack has been a soloist in a vast range of oratorios. Most recently, he performed the baritone solos for Vaughan William’s Sea Symphony and Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. He has also had the opportunity to sing in masterclasses with eminent singers such as Brindley Sherratt, Dame Ann Murray and Joyce DiDonato.
