Jennifer Holloway

American soprano JENNIFER HOLLOWAY is one of the most important singers in her field, with performances in New York, Paris, London, Vienna, Madrid, Florence, Glyndebourne and Los Angeles, among others. At the beginning of her career her repertoire was based on the great mezzo roles of Mozart and Handel, later she developed more towards a lyric-dramatic soprano, retaining central mezzo roles such as the Composer (Ariadne auf Naxos) or Octavian (Rosenkavalier). 2022/23 brings or brought engagements as Bianca (Florentine Tragedy) at the Deutsche Oper Berlin in the Berlin Konzerthaus, Senta in a new production of the Flying Dutchman at the Hamburg State Opera, Salome at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Grete (Ferne Klang) and Chrysothemis (Elektra) in Frankfurt.
Recent highlights include Chrysothemis and Tannhäuser-Elisabeth in Hamburg, Cassandre (Les Troyens) in Munich and Dresden, Salome in Amsterdam, Dresden, Bilbao and Atlanta, the title role of Cesar Franck's Hulda in Paris, Elsa (Lohengrin) in Leipzig, Composer at the Teatro Colon Buenos Aires and Sieglinde (Die Walküre) in Hamburg.
